​The Department of Economic Planning and Statistics, DEPS, Ministry of Finance and Economy advised businesses to conduct the sales activities ethically by complying with the Cheap Sale Price Regulations, Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, Chapter 261 and the Price Display Order. The reminder was issued following four business premises not complying with the Cheap Sale Price Regulations on February and March 2024.

Syarikat D Euro Fabric, Batu Bersurat was issued a Warning Notice for misleading consumers where the price before and after discount were found to be the same.

Syarikat Shahira Jaya Supermarket Sendirian Berhad, Jalan Lumapas; Syarikat Sports Nation, Mabohai; and Syarikat Best Eastern, Mabohai also issued the Warning Notice after conducting sales activities without notification, not displaying Sales Notices, and failure to provide relevant documents as required in sales conditions.
